- Come to class on time and enter classroom in an orderly manner.
- Come to class prepared (students will not be allowed to return to their locker to retrieve forgotten materials).
- Head papers correctly.
- First / Last name, date and period in the upper right hand corner of your paper.
- Title each assignment
- Enter class with a positive attitude.
- Ask for any make-up work.
Physical Education Class Expectations
- Enter the gym through the door in the courtyard closest to the 500 Building.
- Report to your assigned locker-room immediately to avoid being marked tardy.
- Leave all valuables (money, jewelry, etc) at home or in your team locker. The locker rooms will be locked during class, but it is your responsibility to secure your belongings.
- You may bring a lock to use for the class period, but the lock must be removed at the end of the period. Locks left on for any period of time may be removed by staff.
- Dress out as quickly as possible. If you do not have dress out clothes there is no need to “hang out” in the locker-room..
- Walk to the gym.
- Immediately upon entering the gym, walk to your designated squad area and sit down. *Bleachers are off limits unless told otherwise.
- Follow directions for warm-up activity / participation.
- At the end of class, I will dismiss to dress back in. You will be given adequate time to change, provided you use your time wisely.
- Wait in the gym lobby at the end of class until a P.E. instructor dismisses you.
- Physical Education uniforms are mandatory for all West Millbrook students. Orders can be made through your child’s Physical Education teacher.
- A parent’s note will excuse a student from participation in PE for 1 day. A doctor’s note will be required for more than one day.
